Oh no Manu, not that old chestnut again

There are no written guidelines in ANY of VW's servicing, handbooks or guide manuals that state that if you use launch control more than X amount of times that it will invalidate your warranty. Some VW dealers have verbally mentioned it, but without any written knowledge for the customers in their handbooks, any enforcement of it is completely useless. If they didn't want you to use it they wouldn't put it in the handbook in the first place would they?!

Only if you have an ED30 or an R32. Most GTI's DSG's have it though.

Kind of regret ot goinng for DSG now.  Didn't realise there was that much of a difference.
