£1800 to insure a GTI at the age of 18 in the UK where insurance is supposed to be sky high...not too bad....im sure it does depend on where you are living, where you park your car etc?

My hometown is Liverpool... most of the kiddies there fund their car purchases through drug dealing... and they drive much nicer vehicles than Golf GTi's - indeed, when I visited family at Christmas I was told my car war "nothing special - everyone wannabe has one"
