Have you had a rolling road done on your car yet to see what you are currently getting?

Just got the first load of bits for my Mk1 Cab so work on that will get going in the next week or so.

updated the thread here ----> http://www.golfgtiforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=72012.10

and the process for getting the wheels made for that has started. Once the mechanical and chassis bits are sorted I can concentrate on the bodywork and hood. Will be a very low and wide mk1 on Beetle steelies.

For the Mk5 its going to be fine tuning now the bulk of the work has been done:

Eibach coilovers and BBS LM's will be going on.

replace all the turbo plumbing to get rid of the final bottleneck and release a few more bhp.

R32 rear lights

OSIR Carbon Fibre Engine Cover.

OSIR Opod and Defi Link Gauges.

Depending on how the brakes behave, may go for the AP setup.

ooo more pressies
I reckon you gotta be well over 300+ with APR + full milltek
djhorace's comments on milltek power claims are hopefully conservative , plus i reckon the way it effects spool up will be awesome

for me 2008 means

Fit OSIR gauge pod+DEFI guage I have sitting in the computer room !

APR remap + cc fitting @ AwesomeGTI

reckon I will wait til my std DV fails before fitting Forge at the mo

After that full milltek , if funds allow

Which system are you lads opting for? 3" downpipe or 2.75" downpipe?

My 11bhp gain figure comes from my own test - its not Millteks claim. Only other difference on the car was a carbonio with the Milltek.

I am going to see how the standard dv fairs with time before I decide what I am to do with it. I know a few lads with the TFSi still on stock DV's even with remaps. I think that the likes of Forge scare people in to parting with their dosh for something that "might" be needed. You are not going to get a performance gain from a DV anyway.

My first mod will be arrival of my TR R32! Then i have ordered the rear diffuser in Carbon Fibre from www.osirdesign.com and seen quite a few interesting things on VWVortex....but the thing is im not to good with my hands to do this...have a look and if u could help, i would really appreciate it....

http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=3467932

Think it looks alot better as it doesnt stand out as much as normal chrome and blends quite well with the front bumper :)
