window winder

hi can any one help me i took the window winder mechanisum out of my golf to day to fit electric windows but they didnt fit so i put the manual mechanisum back but now wen i wind the winod up it is realy stiff does any one no wot ive done wrong and how to cure it please please help me  :cry: thanx in

I'd say grease your pole, so to speak. :laugh: Slap some grease on the mechanism and WD40 any joints etc, that's what I'd do first.
......now officially dubless.

wen i wind the windows down its realy tight untill they get about 8inches from the top and then it gets easyer (still hard to wind) and the same wen i wind them back up(gets tight about 8inches from the top)
