>>So in my honest opinion. He drives a R32. He has the power, so why not? If you get the chance not to be buggered over by a cop then go for it.
08micsta, here's a few reasons why not.
1) Cops have radios. They can radio other cops in other cars or in a helicopter if you're unlucky.
2) Cops have eyes. They can read your numberplate and find out where you live
3) Cops have CCTV cameras, so even if they don't catch your plate, they can find out what it was.
4) Some people like me see the police as a generally good thing in society, and though we might occasionally slip up, we really don't want to waste their time
5) Some people like me get stressed out at the prospect of being a fugitive from the rozzers. Right now, I feel completely fine driving past the police. I want it to stay that way.
6) Some people like me hope to never be on the road near people trying to flee the law, because they're hardly likely to be driving safely, stopping at lights, watching out for pedestrians and other cars...
7) If you do get a few points on the licence, big deal. It costs a bit more for a bit to insure your car, and you're a bit more careful in the future - hardly the end of life as we know it.
There are just a few reasons 'why not'. (Just wanted to give the other side of the argument! No offence meant!)
