Thanks for all your help... Its fixed now!!! Dismantled the airbox at the motorway services, took the flap out, and it ran fine after that! So I'll buy a new airbox and it'll all be good again...

Still worth earthing the carb do you reckon?

if you dont the carb heater wont work.  but if its not fitted then theres no point :grin:
