Yep they are the new ones! Very very easy to scrape though... already done both sides... and im usually very careful!!
I have also seen them with the centre caps removed and they look even better. If i ever get round to doing it I will post some more pics.. with the digital camera this time.

Oh yes!!! and lots of it...Just hit the 3.5k mark this weekend (just 7wks old) Motorway driving is such a breeze.. and its very very easy to hit 3 digit figures and more. Driving round town was a little difficult at first but now im used to the manual gear box its a breeze and can be driven much smoother even than my dads clk. I can understand why many people comment on the cluncky gear box but honestly there is nothing to it once your used to it... apart from that its running in just fine and feels looser by the week!! Economy has also improved ever so slightly... only bad point is keeping her clean. The outside is fine... just the inside look like a bomb has hit it!!

Hows your going??

yeah not bad
mine is clean on the inside but not the outside!!!! but i'm not that fussed to be honest.......
i agree with you about motorways........you can pick up quite a bit of speed and it makes some considerable noise which is probably quite scary if you're the car in front!!!! sounds like a lion is on the way!!!!
the dsg i've got to get used to, to be honest.........but apparently it improves the old mpg........tell me one thing does your mpg gauge flicker around quite a bit? mine does, i think it needs looking at but you can easily work it out by what you put in...............
