i might end up agreeing with you in the future about gti over r32 but for now it suits me fine, i think the gti is probably a bit more fun in some respects because you have to work slightly harder to get the speed whereas the r32 seems like a time machine it's that quick especially for me coming from a small engine
i don't do masses of miles so it's not a major issue for mpg, to lose £20 here or there is okay but if i was doing say 20k a year, i wouldn't have bought it
but it's good fun for as long as it lasts......................
