course it's insured.. although its never fn trying to get oney out fo them, espec when your on the 2nd day of the policy. Grrr

^ Sorry, I didn't mean to imply it might not be insured at all. I just mean I hope he has good coverage, like an agreed value, so he gets something close to what the car was actually worth. It would just add insult to injury if he ended up with "OK, MK2 Golf - list price £800" Or something ridiculous like that.

agreed value forms prob hvent arrived to them yet.. so its difficut with it being so close to the start of a policy. It should all be ok, im keeping my fingers crossed.

God yeah..it starts from the day on your policy so they shouldn't say anything about that..

Thats not much use when the car has a full tank!!

Gutted for him, I know how I felt after the 16v fire, and that was just a teaspoon of fuel, but that did enough damage to cheese me off! Glad him and his passenger are ok.

Feel sick looking at those pics ... it was such a stunning car (well not the rallye front but the rest was nice  :grin:)

Realy nice car and a shame to see it destroyed in this way but as said the only thing that realy matters is that everyone got out O.K. The car can be replaced but parts of you and your friends cant !
