Been in today. Discussed why they couldn't swap it for an 08 model HU > Warrenty claim so like for like.

They reinstalled my music onto my USB stick ( the doctored version from VW UK  head office). Lo and behold there was only one folder showing on the display. It only contained one Chemical Brothers and a Killers CD. All the other files, folders and albums had gone.
The technician will call M Keynes in the morning.

To be fare the technician himself has been really good. I just want to get it sorted.

I live across the road from the Barnsley dealer (haysledens), and bought the car from them, had faulty binnacle ( MFD) very quick replacement ,excellent!, only 20 mins from huddersfield!

steel grey, 5 door , leather, parking sensors, IPod, 18" monza,MF wheel,  K&N filter , smoked rear lights and mirror indicators,,, no remap..... yet!!

What the f is wrong with these tw8ts???  :angry:   Can't they do anything properly?  Maybe the monkey's dad works in MK  :rolleyes:

MK said that the wrong files had been sent/wrong disk had been sent. So they will send a new one up next week. :angry:

I still have all the music as I have the CDs. I think what VW are trying to prove is that ripping the CDs using Windows Media player V11 is causing a problem. They are saying that WM Player has included the album art with the music files and this maybe causing a problem.
