So you must have 120 clocks in at the mo?  You would need the 140 or 160 ones, with the 140 ones you'd need to change for the white speedo drive, with the 160 ones you could just use the red one you have in at the mo.

What's the red and white coloured talk about?

I'm swapping out my clocks next weekend because the odometer has now stopped working altogether (i think maybe the gears in it are all chewed up)

I have a new (scrapyard!) set of clocks with rev counter, MFA and two connectors on.
Is this going to throw any suprises at me just doing a straight swap?
It's an 89 8v GTi, I'm not sure whether two or single plug is what I'm expecting to find.

also, do I have to notify the DVLA I've done this? obviously the mileage of the vehicle's going to be different now.

Thanks friends

I've got an 90 8v gti, on 120mph vdo clocks with rev and MFA, and they are single pin! would be a pain to take out the clocks to find the new ones wont fit!

good luck
