if you want induction kit ggo for the bmc sealed unit or the pipercross viper.both of theese use a dedicated cold feed so only the air that goes in the cold air tube gets in the engine saving any heat soak
i think i love you.....

Yeah, those two are supposed to be the best induction kits, however they are costly.
A replacement panel filter is meant to do just the trick and its over £100 less
I think Green are pretty well respected panels?
That was my choice
Waiting for it to arrive

Just get a K&N panel filter and save your money from the induction kit. If you're after an induction roar then just drill your airbox, wing side.
......now officially dubless.

i just got a big peice of flexi tube and tiewrapped it onto the grill and then put a k&N cone filter and hooked the cold feed upto that... looks smart too suprisingly, and does the trick, however im deffo going back to original box and a panel filter when i decide i can be bothred.

Stick with a panel filter, it has the same effect. Make sure if you drill the box you do it beneath the air filter! I've got a K&N fitted in mine and you notice the inductiony noise (with std non-drilled airbox) and if saves the expense of buying a new filter every service.

I've given this example before, but Vaughn (global mod) on here has a brother who until recently had the biggest BHP Audi S3 in the country and all he was running was a panel filter, now he'd changed all sorts on the S3 to get the power it was up to and he did loads of research before doing anything and if an induction kit would have made a big difference he'd have had one, he knew it wouldn't, so he didn't.

There endeth the lesson.
