it may be, i know john rubjonny did it on his driver that way.. he might be able to tell you if there is anything need done wiring wise inside the clocks.. i think there is 1 lead or something, ill have to check what he said..

otherwise to transplant them its a case of unplug and plug in.. not forgetting the speedo vac as well..

27/07/2007  15:41:56  rubjonny  speedo is just a few screws in teh back
27/07/2007  15:42:09  rubjonny  theres a leccy plug going to oil pressure circuit
27/07/2007  15:42:14  rubjonny  swappy
27/07/2007  15:43:43  rubjonny  basically the pcb at the back has a jumper plug type thing
27/07/2007  15:43:51  rubjonny  goes thru clocks into oil pressure circuit
27/07/2007  15:44:01  rubjonny  bit o gente persuasion and it pops off
27/07/2007  15:44:15  rubjonny  if i were you id popp the pressure circuit off the speedo and swap as well
27/07/2007  15:44:24  rubjonny  keep it with the same clocks if you get me

ok sorry just want to make sure i understand :) take out the old clocks, put in clocks with rev counter and thats it?

it sure is and ive jsut done it  :smiley:

dubsport: yep basically - thats if you find some close to yours like..

the key thing to also check for is the series of 4 numbers below KM/H thats denotes the gearing, these also need to match - again a good route if you cant find a set with the same gearing but a counter is to transplant as i have done..
