Swap it in for a GTI !!
Computer games don't affect kids, I mean if Pac Man affected us as kids, we'd all be running around in darkened rooms, munching pills and listening to repetitive music.

this is a current experiment of mine

you can either directly swap the clocks with a milage close to yours, make sure you get the right set, the 1 or 2 pins..

or my route im taking is to swap the speedo and milometer into a set with a rev counter ready fitted and fit them, retaining the factory and original speedo to my car..

will be a single pin set of clocks youre after then..

check ebay or a scrappy, you can get a set of clocks that just drop in as long as they are the 1 pin type, to match.. unless you wanna go the same route as me but if youre not too confident i wouldnt risk it - like i wont do my cambelt

hehehe..

open original set of clocks from car, open the casing, unscrew and remove the dial that has the milage on, and the speedo, disconnect any other connections to it, open second set of clocsk, ones featuring rev counter, remove speedo from this second set, refit original speedo from original clocks, reassemble
