what sat nav gps etc do you have? what ones to buy

Multi map the route , then i usually "pace note" my directions

      O (thats a roundabout) 3rd exit

you can easily drive anywhere like that , then when you get close , pull over multi map directions then ya there easy

 im anti sat nav , i know people that dont go out of town that have them

That's exactly how I get around - look up my route on a map and then write big clear directions on a sheet of paper that I sit next to me so I can glance at it to check the next turning/exit

I do have a TomTom 500 however, it was bought for me, mainly useful for speed camera warnings. That was until it killed itself RIP (it wasn't even a year old, not very impressed)

I use to do that too.. then I got lazy and bought the all singing all dancing euro-route Garmin with free camera and traffic updates on company expenses
