I'm currently running ET28 wheels with 10mm spacers at the back, no problems. Though I do have Falken ZE512s which have a low profile look sidewall, with Eagles I got rubbage over bumps. ET12 is really bad, even with lots of arch choppage
Edit: Seen here with ET24 E30 BBS wheels, no problems apart from up front over really harsh bumps or uneven cambers:

I've got 7J ET 24 with 195/50/15s, standard height.... and get scrubbing all round when going over dips/bumps
Could never have someone sitting in the back thats for sure!
[Edit] just realised same wheels as above in Jubjonnys post, E30s...... definately get scrubbing all round
Do you reckon it's down (in part at least) to saggy owd springs?

must be knackerd suspension, never had any issues at all before i lowered it, and only got slight rubbage up front after I dropped it.
What tires have you got, can make a big difference!

tyres I have no idea, they're some crappy unknown brand that came on the wheels.... was planning to put my yoko A539s off my old wheels onto them
Guess I'll be getting my suspension all round then
PS the wheels have always looked to be sticking a tad too far out as well

:laugh:All I know is the fronts look further out than the rears..... I think I need to get the camber and everything checked
What sort of camber should there be? Cause the rears look in at the top and the fronts, well, don't (no idea how to express that in technical terms!)

The fronts should tuck in a little bit. When I do it I use the scientific method of shoving both to max camber, works a treat
Around -1.5 camber is a good starting point to go for
