evil first gear

Thanks ashmk1 for replying with some useful info.

Doubling the clutch doesnt work on mine. definitley have to be stopped and it slides right in.

I have to be stopped before I can select 1st gear, but after 25mins of driving I am able to select first No prob.

I think it is the gear linkage bushes

As I also have problems selecting reverse, as to get my reverse lights on I have to select reverse then pull the stick back
