Heya does any 1 no how to take the windscreen out with out cutting the seal as i need to sort out some rust from under there1

I was also thinking of painting all the trim and bumbers the same as the car, what do you think?? or should i just keep it all red and black i just cant decide lol  :undecided:

Not a bad idea that but not sure you can paint it all ?

the window will pop out if you ease it out gently, going round all corners wee bit at a time!

dont paint the black trim it looks hideous, keep it as VAG meant it to be!!

do i just use a razor blade to go round the seal to get it out? then silacone it back in?

nah i wouldnt touch the seal with a razorblade if you want to keep the seal! as said it should come out, i managed to do it with my fingers just pushing the lip over the metal edge bit by bit till it popped out.  :smiley:
i must buy a new car!

That's what i was told too, although it didn't happen:




Be very careful if you intend to re-use the screen. Luckily i was taking mine out to replace it!
