hey guys,
been having the standard problem of idling badly and running like a bag of spanners low end.
this is what ive done thus far:
super 4 plug change
splitfire leads
dizzy cap and arm
k and n 57i
ecu chip
checked all electrical wiring and hoses....all peachy except one for oil temp on mfa which spade has broken off.
cleaned up connections and sprayed carb cleaner everywhere.
i kindda made a boo boo trying to adjust idle and altered wrong one (small screw with nut) tryed to correct that anyway.
now she is still hunting but not as bad and no longer dies at junctions but still a little lumpy low end untill picks up.
the exhaust is blowing slightly and was wondering if thats part of problem (gonna change is to mongoose very soon) or does the car need a tune up.. with co and mixture etc. i did notice the mixture seemed to be to strong when i took out old plugs.
on a separate note...the plastic cover thing next to fan belt has broken on the screw bit so is rubbing on belt now, any easy way to solve that.
