active sub?
« on: 16 June 2007, 00:37 »
all im looking for is a bit more bass nothing to much and i dont want to fill the boot and loose space.
i dont want to go down the road of changing the speekers so i was looking at a active sub ive seen a alpine swd1600 (150 w)for £99. ive got a alpine head unit with sub control.
whot id like to know is will the sub drown out the normal speekers and has anyone got any ideas if its good or bad? i take it it will need power to it like all amps do?
thanks for any help you can offer

yeah it will need to be wired like a normal amp package. It sounds like just what your looking for, the bass is neither too deep or too loud. stick it under your seat and you will just about notice its there, a lot of people are unimpressed with them but if you not expecting too much then....!

FLI Active 10" or 12". Not to expensive and sounds really nice!
