I believe you will struggle to get a 100 crank in and working, to use the diesel crank needed loads of work to the block to get clearance.

Also that long a stroke means you will be limited on revs.

Built a few 2.1's @ TSR and to use the diesel crank needed loads of work to the block to get clearance.

95.5mm will go in an ABF...it hits the oil squirters, so you need to 'clearance' them...and as long as it's fully knife edged, lightened and balalnced, it's good for 8000-8500 RPM all day...
But it brings its own problems.

Trigger wheel?

Rods? Can't use ABF.

Pistons? Can't use ABF if you are going 2.1.

Compression?
What compression?
10.5:1 is useless on big cams...

It can be done...most of the bits are in my garage ready to go...but you need to know how.

100mm stroke must be difficult...and I'm still unsure how you get to 2.3?

Reducing my Golf count by the week....
..but gaining motorcycles.

My maths are rusty but you would need a longer stoke than 100 I believe

My sums were based on an 83.5mm bore...the largest you can go reliably on high compression.

Why don't YOU give us the maths then?

Not my maths! You think I'm doing this all by myself!
What I have been told.
And I have no intention of questioning it!
