Just bought one of the above..

Looks nice, has everything I want froma HU, just hope its as good as it looks!

Anyone got any experience of them??

Its my first JVC last couple I've had have been Sony, my current Sony is starting to play up, which is why I've got a new un!

(but don't tell me if they are sh|t!!)

You should be Ok with JVC - the KD-SH range are the high-end or SQ models IIRC, but whichever model it is, it's very likely to be better than the current Sony range. :grin:

what one's this? i had one in my clio but is currently on loan to ma cousin since i don't have any interior really. it was the one with the 3" screen and the buttons on the left, no widescreen tho like the new ones.

i like playing music dvds cos you could fit so many albums on one disc. take it you wired up the handbrake sensor to a chassis ground so you can watch dvds while you drive?  :wink:

I have had this headunit (in black) for coming up for 3 years and its never gone wrong works a treat, jvc are fine for headunits  :wink:

Will always love my mk4 but she had to go...225 Quattro TT in its place....but its still black (she lives on in spirit!)

Well thats the same as mine and it has lasted almost everyday useage for 2 years, never broken, everything works, the touchscreen is perfect. Cant really fault it to be honest, just make sure you turn the bird off, she does my swede in ;)

WOW!!!! fitted last night, had to play around with perm and ign lives after my sony, but working now and the sound quality is superb!

Slightly more difficult to use than the Sony, due to the touch screen, but is is o cooooolll!

Only 1 prob so far I get a "connection error" every now and then, which I think is the connection between the face and the main unit. Hopefully it is nothing terminsl! Ot at least repairable!


PS no one got a VDO twin pole sender and/or t-peice????
