Petrol warning light !!!!!

Hi all do mk3s have a petrol warning light and should they have a buzzer for when you leave your lights on and you open the door.

Ive got a lights on buzzer , but no petrol light .

does your interior light come on when drivers door is opened? could be the switch, if light comes on then its the buzzer

Yes Billy my light comes on so can you give me any info on replacing the buzzer where it is etc.

The headlight warning buzzer is in a relay in the fusebox. Many people take them out because they are annoying.

i thought the relay didnt come as standard?

i want one.. anyone know the part # ?

a quick search on google tells me its "relay 36" no more info yet.. like where it goes etc..

"buzzer for lights" found in the ETKA.. ordered one and will have it friday.. it goes in "position 9"..

relay 36 means nothing at this point, but it may be written on it

Thats like the ECu and fuel relays as the numbers on the parts have no bearing to whats shown in haynes etc.
