Sorry to sound like a spoilt brat, but i could'nt give a monkeys if my car blows up, it's a company car and i don't have to pay if it goes wrong.
Plus red16v, i don't need to worry about the insurance thing, see this is the cool bit, my company is the insurance company, they own 40% of all general insurance companies so i don't need to wory there,
Clutch slipping, news to me, i think 300lb ft torque is a little bit over the top as i was told roughly a 25lbft torque increase, and even on a 150 that would only make 260 max. Not sure, just think people are trying to look for problems, and hey if we were that worried about costly things going wrong we'd all be driving around in a Golf 1.4 match and keeping to below 2000 revs in case it blew up with the excessive right foot. If increasing the power by using a box is gonna cause problems i would imagine it would only be on cars later in their lives so we don't need to worry about it yet.
S11EPS ( whats yor name as i feel rude talking to a number plate mate) go for it, its gotta be worth it, warranties are there to be used, if it goes bang take the box off and take it back to VW and ac all blonde with them, "i was driving in the countryside with the bunnies and the pretty lil birdies when my nasty littel engine went puffpuffff bang, can you fix it Mr lovely lil mechanic Man?/""" and thy will never even know you had a tuning box on it and was hrashing the nuts off your car sitting up the arse of an R32 and still acheiving 50MPG.
Still undecided??
