I bought a Mk3 to keep my missus happy too

I miss my Mk2, even my first mk2 1.8 GL was more fun that this Mk3 1.8 CL.
I did have a Mk2 16v which was a great drivers car, I'd love another one.
If I could manage it, I'd go for a late Mk2 GTI, one with all the creature comforts, and looks slightly more modern with big bumpers and recaro interior to keep her happy.
Oh well.
But my missus has said that I can have one later, maybe even a project car, and I'm holding onto that dream....
