Cancelled my Ed 30

Have cancelled my black edition 30 today because on Friday my vw dealer informed me that instead of June/July delivery,my car probably wont arrive until november.
I dont want to wait this long, so tomorrow will be going to my local Audi dealer and ordering a sprint blue Audi S3.
They said my S3 will arrive mid June as they can order one this month.

I ordered my golf on 16th February and vw dealer said it was their last allocation for an ed 30.

They were as surprised as me when they were told car wasnt arriving until November.Thats true because salesman is very good friend of mine.

Was at Audi garage 8.30 this morning and ordered my S3.
Sprint blue
Two tone silver/black full leather
armrest
sunroof
Ipod console
interior light pack
auto lights and wipers
electric lumbar
electric folding mirrors
multifunction flat bottom steering wheel
privacy glass
cruise control
bose sound system
Even got £500 discount.only got £100 of ed 30.

Sounds a very nice spec S3, if it's not a rude question, was it much more money compared to the ED30?

I can't understand that, I ordered my E30 Feb 10th and I picked it up yesterday! I am sure you will enjoy your S3 tho, they are a stunning car, if not a bit over priced!

When collecting my car yesterday, I asked my dealer about the allocation for the e30 and he said they were very few remaining that could be ordered!

my friend,the salesman at vw dealer said they were allocated 5 cars to sell in 2007.
they cant order all the cars at the same time though.they can order 2 in fist quater,2 in second quarter and mine(number 5)in the third quarter so they cant order my car until july and then it takes 12 weeks to arrive which will take us to Novemberish.
The S3 is costing me £2410 more than the golf to buy.have owned an audi before and a golf and personally i feel the audi is worth the extra.

Wow I was expecting a bigger price difference than that! With out sounding rude what was the total price for the s3 with that spec? I agree Audi's are great cars

Yes that is the price difference with that spec.
golf was costing £27135.
S3 costing £29545.
S3 price should have been £30045 but got £500 discount,only got £100 of ed 30.
Not bad I think.
