Stealer first - and then makesure they agree with you. After that, it will be raised to VW uk. I can some contact details but they will send you back to the dealer. Once VW uk are involved, then there will be a bit of ping pong between them and the dealer. Also a fair bit of denial! Then your dealer will say it is a 'characteristic' of the system!! And you will use info from their own site 'near perfect acoustics'

It's a proper pain in the butt, but if we all just sat around doing nothing about the problems with have with our overpriced then nothing would ever improve. Once VW have enough complaints escalated to HQ then they will action a VW fix. Should you accept any offer of a fix from the dealer (stereo shop fix etc) then be careful as it will affect any future warranty work with respect to door cards/stereo. They tried this with us, we declined!
After we got the full refund, we have signed an agreement accepting that we have no redress with the stereo quality in the future, which is fine with me.
