I would have a VR6, sounds like they have plenty of torque all the way through the rev range.

 

the 16v is torquey too..  guess they all gotta be a bit to launch the weight of the car forwards


we need dyno charts for all stock models

I think mk3 8v owners have a chip on their shoulder.
People have cars for different reasons. I have a golf cos its fast and the roof comes off. Probably sell it this year though (never have a car for more than 18 months).

The only reason anyone has a mk3 8v is that they couldnt afford a proper 16v car.

8v = 8.7secs
16v = 8.3secs
