Shocking! I remember 15 years ago when I had my 1981 Ford Fiesta. I was paying £800 back then! IThey would not have even looked at a GTi. lol

Can i also ask martin, seeing as your a Vw driver, does your insurance policy price go skywards if it has alloy wheels and it slammed onto the floor? That seems to be the case for my mk3 at the min so it's left as standard, and poss a single light grill instead of the dual ones.

With us slammin it and putting as set of wheels on does not even effect the premium, our policies allow £1500 cosmetic mods and 10bhp performence without it effecting thee premium!

oooo, suit you sir, that's nice and fair.

I'll be looking for a quote hopefully when i'm 19, as you dont do insurance for under 19's.

Dont suppose you may have a rough price guide?

fraid not mate, would need to take all your details. The only way you might get a rough idea is go on our website and run through an online quote but just put your date of birth so you are a year older. It might quote, it might not...we have schemes which are not available online yet.

Martin

maybe i've already tried it before, think i did, although currently the webpage gives a custom error,, or more technical a runtime error.

Never mind it's working now, doesnt give me a quote though

i will be getting my insurance with HIC in a couple of weeks time.
the quote i've had was VERY good with an agreed value that i think was very fair with all mods declared!
