I have just put £40.00 of Super Unleaded in the car at TESCO's? Whats the score with all this anyway?

Martz nah just money happy lol..
Hope you recorded the milage you should get more MPG than regular and abit more ommph! its rated at 97 or 98 octane so regular is like 95 Ron. I just did the same with V max from shell to give it a shot they did give me a key chain for using the stuff :laugh: £40 key chain mmmmmm?

er... i think you all missed the point.

News recently... dodgy fuel from supermarkets down south?

Shouldn't have a problem mate, not much electrical to go wrong on the 8v's, even the rallyes.

Alternatively, it could blow up.

i always use nothin else apart from 99 ron unless its for the company car that just gets what ever is avalible

i think the petrol thing is just a chance you take dont think every one should panic about it no saying were and what ones to avoid really could be any were take it as it comes i say

Yes but not for putting fuel in your rallye!  :laugh:
The petrol thing is supposedly down to silicone in the fuel which sticks to the lambda sensor and makes new cars turn into unrunnable coughing spluttering things! I ain't got a lambda sensor and I live oop North!

But as you only have ancient technology in your car it shouldnt harm it too much!
