central locking - not worked since battery removal

Hi

since I've had the battery out of my car to perform some work, my central locking will not work.

Is there some sequence to re-connecting the battery which will make it work again?

The pump works as I have had power to it and it runs.

That sounds like a fuse or a relay that has gone pop as the battery was disconnected / reconnected. Sometimes a short / surge can occur. Check those if you haven't already.

I can't imagine that there is an order to putting the components back in the circuit to make them work.
