Diagnostic port

 Have just fitted a mk3 2.0 8v engine and wiring loom  I have the loom for diagnostic port but it only has 4 wires on two two pin plugs    not sure what diagnostic system it is as I thought obd2 had 5 wires? anyideas?

The old Mk 3 GTi's are OBD1 compliant but you need a different connector and Vag.com or simliar fault code reader,  you can purchase one from E-Bay for around £8.00 from china.
