ive had all my pads changed and now my handbrake pulls up alot higher, it pulls up quite away before i feel any tension, how do i go about tightening it?

take the handbrake lever trim off - 1 screw at the back.
slide this off.
you will see where the handbrake cables come in from the underside of the car and are held by some nuts to the lever. tighten the nuts up. this should do the trick.
may need to play around with them a bit to get the right tension.
if the cables are at maximum adjustment then you will need new ones. they are about £12 each from vw.
