I couldnt have a mk1 or mk2.

I sat in both today at the mk5 private show thing. They are SOOO damn dated inside.. I couldnt put up with that...

My mk3 is borderline ancient, but these older models... no offence like, but ... eeeek... 80's thru and thru

Theres a huge leap in inside style from the mk1 to the mk2, i love mine, 80's yes, but the 80's at its best!!!

its not just the seats... the dash... the .... everything.... just reminds me of saturdays when i was seven driving to see my nan in my dads old 80's beast... i hated that damn thing.

I hated almost every 80's car.

You must be too young to want to reminisce then - cant beat the old style - so much class and individuality, not just another euro-box, or jap pocket rocket like todays cars
