Too much torque!! - Need some grip......

Since my recent engine rebuild, cam, pulley etc, my P6000's aren't giving me any grip in the G60. 
What tyres will give me the best grip?
I'm thinking Yoki AVS Sport / Goodyear Eagle F1 / Toyo Proxes T1-R

Any recommendations on which will do the best job, or am I fighting a lost cause.

I would go for Goodyear Eagle F1's any day mate, I've had P6000's and P5000 Dragos and to be honest I thought they were complete sh!te for grip and wear. I've used Yoko's and Toyo's and both gave good grip but jesus do they wear out quick, so as I said for me its F1's all the way

problem is once you start to hit the 200bhp mark front wheel drive cars always suffer with grip problems if ya plant ya right foot. especially at this time of year , the only viable soloution is an lsd conversion , i used to suffer serious wheel spin in my 205 , due to 200+bhp it would wheelspin up to 3rd gear if i planted it , only way to limit this was to bring the power on smoothly.

Im using g/year f1's 195/45's all round no grip in wet at all. Mines 8v 2.1 and in dry good but not brilliant and high torque to front ain't good. As man says above lsd only way foward really. I've driven mk2 16v with quaife diff fitted superb espacially round corners in wet.

I had some Toyo Proxes TS1-S on my GTI and they didn't last long at all, but the TS1-Rs I fitted to replace them were much harder wearing.  Better grip in the wet 'they' say as well
Worth a punt, and if they arn't any good swap to the back and fit Eagle F1s, which are a very highly recommended, though you pay for the privilage!

best thing to do m8t is for the winter get some cheap alloys on it £100 jobbie and then some very soft compound tyres then change when the wether starts getting better to something firmer

My G60 has a stage 4 charger but is currently on standard pulley. I can spin up the tyres in third no problem.
Metering out the throttle is the key.

My daily has Eagle F1 and the G60 has Toyo. F1s are deffo better.

As mentioned above a Quaiffe LSD is tempting, but it's £400+ ish plus fitting. Most people also swap the 1st and 2nd gears for the ratios from a Mk3 VR6 at the same time too. (The G60 ratios are too short!)

Downside to LSD is increased risk of torque steer.

The Quaiffe LSD is tempting but not tempting enough at the mo for that money.
Think I'll invest in some F1's soon; only £35.20 a corner off 'my tyres' in 195/50/15.

Toyo T1Rs are great, as is the model above them the....888.

Only downside with the T1Rs i find...sidewalls are a little soft.

But very good grip wet or dry.
