Good Job!

So did "The Phirm" sort ya car in the end, whats was done?  i defo remember seeing it down there. Went down there a few times when i had the Rallye.

Yeah they did. Waited a couple of months for some forged pistons from the States, and in the end got a whole new bottom end from VW!! Was off the road for nearly 6 months in the end.
Got a high-lift cam and smaller pulley too along with a few other bits. New Chip coming next, hopefully next month.....  Lovin' it (when it's dry!!!!!!!!)

I had Michelin Pilot Sport 2 on my Bugeye Impreza running 325bhp and the only time it would ever loose grip was when it was power slidding off roundabouts.. hoho.   The 4WD system did compliment the tyres though. They were great in the dry and probably just as good in the wet too. Not cheap though

Your best place to get Michelins is Costco, I have not managed to find anyone who can match them on price. Most places in Aberdeen have stopped stocking Michelin as they can't compete with Costco.
