The only problem with going up against a focus ST is how Meany of them are knocking on 300 bhp by now? Ford owners love to modify there cars. Morego recorded a time of 6.42 to 60 on cold damp road in VW golf plus mag. Awsome's car did it in 6.45. With either conversion it will cost you less and you will end up with a better car.   The ED30 is a wasted opportunity

you are comparing the standard edition 30 to a modified car, what about a modified edition 30?. the car is fitted with the kkk k04 variant turbo, as in the new s3. this is roumoured to be chipable to just over 300bhp. so add a £500 remap to the edition 30 and now compare them

Not if they torque limit it in the lower gears the same way as the Focus ST.  Would really add some straight line oooomph to worry more expensive metal.

Thanks - I've added carbon fibre door mirrors, boot lid handle, oh yes and one xenon headlamp - don't ask!

hmm mixed feelings really - if the carbon fibre ones were not available I'd have kept the red ones - I would not have chenged 'em for black of blue etc

I just love C/F!

Here is a pic of the rear handle - before and after

more door mirror ones...

It's great as a second car - I've only done 667 miles in mine - more to follow once the weather picks up!

You / your missus has chosen wisley

the only criticism i had of the mini gp aesthetically was the mirrors so it looks much better, goes well with the dark wheels :afro:
