sagging drivers door on a mk2 how to sort it?

just bought the car and the doors needs a bit of a bang to close it because its sits a bit low.
so how do i sort it and is it much work?

My passenger door did feel like it sat low but i adjusted the door lock mechanism and it shuts perfect now

this does sit low though maybe an inch or two is it just a matter of replacing the door pins?

not sure mate. my dad used to fix these problems by putting a car jack under the door

well i thought of that already it just lifted the car then when lowered its still the same must be that trusty vdub build quality again! id rather sort it properly so it doesn't happen again.

my drivers door droped on my old golf i replaced the door pins'moved the door lock and mechanism+ abit of greace and was perfect untill some1 broke into my car with a crow bar and bent the whole door back (wan!ers

to fix the door all you do is get a wheel stud and jam it in the bottom door hinge and gently close the hinge, this will correct the sag in the door
dont close it too hard or you'll over correct it, just do it slowly bit by bit
if you do over correct it then just put the wheel stud in the top hinge and do the same.
i detailed this for the mk1 boys, its the same for mk2's
