After something small that will fit under a front seat, and thought something like this would do the job

I have an Infiniti Basslink, similar idea although too big for under a seat. Pleased with it.... not mental bass but didn't expect it to be :)

Sony mex-1hd head unit, caliber front components, pioneer 6 by 9's. Nothing too special :)

Cant decide if to go for a sub, or some 6x9s ... have you run either separately with the componets ? Was there enough mid range with just a sub ??

one of the lads had an alpine one, nice looking thing, looked kind of like decks  yep cuz they are so close they kick your ass very well so to speak.   ( my system, 2x 12 inch pioneer subs driven off 2 american pro import amps, 2 power caps, one alpine amp rinning vibe componants in front doors, and yeah its loud disturbs the neighbours quite nicely )

about the volume again, if you have ever sat in the back of a normal car(closer to subs like under seat!) with subs in the boot? much louder than the front.

I don't honestly notice any difference if I don't connect the rear 6 by 9's. Whereas if I ditch the sub it makes a massive difference!!

na rear 6x9s are too far away to here the 'bass' if thats what you call it! (midbass) and are not angled properly to hear the treble
