hi,

anyone out there ever bought a replacement pump please?

Any idea of price and where to find one?

test your existing one first, u can operate the gate on the pump by hand, if there is power reachins the pump then the doors will lock & unlock

if there is no power going to it then it'll do nothing

I found one on ebay that sold at the beginning of this month for ?10 plus postage.

can you check to see if your getting power to the pump itself. it has continuous power even with the ignition off. multi meter, or else run a wire from the battery to the pump

the pumps dont fail but the wire giving power to it usally breaks somewhere between the drivers door and the boot

Hello

Gambit - thanks for the very helpful advice to check the power wire.  I bought this car from my brother two months ago and just asked him, he said he got this checked, the power did work, so it appears I do need a new pump.

MK2 - thanks for the link to the pump on ebay, very grateful, I never spotted that.
