God damn Electrical Diagrams
« on: 08 January 2004, 10:15 »
right this diagram says the ISV is controlled by fuse number 17, does this mean simply i need to check location number 17 in the fuse box??

http://homepage.ntlworld.com/kevin.yeoman/16v_isv_wiring_diagram.jpg

surely it cant be as simple as this? the fuse box cover says fuse 17 is for the turn signal??

S17 should be fuse 17, but, I would be more inclined to believe your cover. Have you definately got the correct wiring diagram for your car?

yep its defo it, i thought the turn signal was controlled by a relay though?

Yeah but so do the wipers, fuel pump etc., but they still need to go through a fuse to protect the circuits.

Fuse layouts do seem to change with the years so would be worth checking. Good luck.
