Flashing temp light, pt 2
« on: 10 October 2006, 22:19 »
Ok so leaving it on on ignition, batt and oil light, usual ignition drill, but the the tmep light eventually coems in as well, cold engine, not running or even started..

Dodgy connection?

Dodgy sensor?

Only have black and red sensors on housing, and no sensor on expansion.

Oh and have a kink, but not a broken wire, on top my block, the 2 sensors there, oil and whatever.. possibly related?

And also the temperature gauge goes half and fan kicks in and everything stays hunky dory

could be a sensor issue, though normally the gauge shoots to max or doesnt read at all.  You may have a faulty temp gauge!

What connections are there that would cause that light to flash, are there any earths i'm possibly missing?

There is only the wiring to/from the temp sensor that could be causing an issue the fault must be there or inside the clocks...
