it dips, but its like it wants to cut out.. so does this mean its just a standerd thing? and dosnt need to be attended to?

well that depends.. is it only happening when the fans or compressor kick in? you can usually hear it.

your problem is def temp gauge, mine had exact same prob, £15 fix mate

Really if its only a £15 fix that would be perfect, ermm is it hard to fit etc? is it £15 from stealers or scrappy?

and also to what to Topher said, im not sure about fans or compressers kicking in...

but it hasnt done it 2day..just when it wants to...
