simple head unit question

will this headunit http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=4727&cadid=c069dd7d114201fe0288e8109e750214 (Alpine CDA-9852RR
) fit into a mk 2 stright in or will i have to mess about with the wires , i really havnt got a clue as its my first car , cheers o and if i bought a ISO wiring adaptor would that make things alot easier

This will go straight in but you may need the vw to iso connector...many do but some have allready being converted , buy the unit and give it a try and if it dosen't work nip to halfrauds and buy the lead should be about a tenner autoleads pc2 084 i believe (only prob you may have is there is very little room at the back of the radio cage for the wires and you may need to convince it to clip in!!!)
