The result is alot smoother drive on acceleration and when you let off, and there seems to be abit more power but not a huge difference.

20 quid well spent.

Car: mk2 gti 8v digi PB engine, with cone filter and SS exhaust.

If anyone wants one, i highly recommend HigherPeaks from eBay, i think the first chip was buggered and was sent a replacement today, i only ordered last Friday! He gaeve me his number when i hit problems and emailed back very quickly. Super eBay user.

I'm going to try and negotiate a GolfGTi discount scheme.

Well done mate, i might consider this one myself. After 2 weeks of driving my first Golf GTI 8v, i can now appreciate what "digilag" is and how annoying it can be - put your foot down and wait for it to go.

Do it, but buy it from the user I did.

After driving this more i'v noticed it's totally opened up the top end, i think it has definitely added power.

Most cases of "Digilag" are down to the car not being set up correctly.

If you follow the tuning guide in the maint section you will find that it almost completely goes. After having had mine set up properly it is a completely different car.

the seller is a super helpful guy too.

I think i put it in the wrong way and blew it but he sent another FOC staright away.  :cool:
