thought it would be quick enough as it was!!!, dunno really a 2ltr head, gas flowed with a fast road cam, 'chipped' (pending on model) performance exhaust and filter etc, then theres turbos and superchargers and nos, many things to make it go faster but it depends on how much money you have!!!!youve got a good base to start on though! ;D

How about bore out the 2l bottom end to about a 2.1 or 2.2. Get the rotating assembly balanced to smooth things out a bit and free up some revs. go with a 2 liter head that has been flowed with bigger valves. Intake cam from the 1.8l 16v (KR series engine) Gasket match the intake and a 4 branch mani to the head to smooth out flow abit. Have the intake flowed and fitted with a 2.2 audi throttle body. Lastly scrap the factory injection system and go for a Jenvey direct to head injection setup with a stand alone ECU. Should be good for a bit more power and a lot lighter wallet.  hp is expensive.  ;D
