Hmmmm.....Now, I have has six cars, all VW's, and have had a licence since 1997. In all that time I have never cut up, gesticulated or anything else at another VW driver. Cos that would be disrespectful, innit?

So yesterday, on the way to getting a new tyre, some fat bird in a lesser polo than mine cut me up on purpose TWICE. TWICE!

I dunno if she expected me to race her or what? But it peed me off no end that she did not respect my authoritahhhhhh.

So, fat bird in a 1.4 dragon green mk 4, I hope youre reading this. LEARN SOME MANNERS!!!

heh, well it peed me off quite a bit. she nearly had the front off me polo at one point. bloody birds.

Occasionally I've had other mk2 gti drivers wave/nod at me.  you know giving it the 'nice one mate' respect type thing (?)

There should be more of that I reckon..

when I had a volvo 480 (the one with the pop-up lights) I used to get it all the time..  There are less of those about tho... Dare I say it? Golfs are a lot more common...(sorry)

when i used to be in the 'aircooled vw brigade' we always used o flash and nod or give the old 'no worries' hand gesture!!!, its nice to know your belonging to somethinggood!!, would have to be a world wide announcement to start doing something friendly to fellow 'golfers' as other wise there will be 'road rage' and 'what the f@ck you flashin/waving at' stuff lol
