I always try to let VW's at junctions and stuff, even if Im driving my shoddy work van.
I used to drive a Beetle and it was cool when other air cooled dubs waved at you.
It would be good if GTI drivers would do the same!
Lets try and start it, wave to every GTI you see and see what happens!

I use to give a wave ir thumbs up to all VW's I met on the road. I had to narrow it down to Golfs, GTI, Polos, Cabs, and any other nice looking dubs I meet though. Had an old man in a Passat throw me the V after I waved. I don't generally cut up on any cars unless I am in a city than it's everyone for themselves it seems. lol.

When ever I'm in my mk1 Golf I always get a wave from other mk1 owners. I guess it's because the mk1 is rarer than mk2 round by me and I know most of the people who own the mk1 golfs .

i think before long the 'gti' scene will have some kind of 'wave' as word is spreadin like mad!!!, ive had mk4 peeps wave at me before, ive looked gone out at em then thought 'oh theyve got a mk4 they must think my cars ok' kinda thing!!! bring it  on im all up for 'gti' recognition!!! Hmmmm.....Now, I have has six cars, all VW's, and have had a licence since 1997. In all that time I have never cut up, gesticulated or anything else at another VW driver. Cos that would be disrespectful, innit?

So yesterday, on the way to getting a new tyre, some fat bird in a lesser polo than mine cut me up on purpose TWICE. TWICE!

I dunno if she expected me to race her or what? But it peed me off no end that she did not respect my authoritahhhhhh.

So, fat bird in a 1.4 dragon green mk 4, I hope youre reading this. LEARN SOME MANNERS!!!

Someone tried that in London with me, was in my company car, just overtook them and slammed my breaks on....  Not much damage but it came out of his insurance.....  lol

Heh, nice one. I wouldnt have minded if it was an old lady or someone that didnt realise they did it, but she purposefully got in the wrong lane and cut me up!!!!!!

You sound as though she really got under your skin! Do we not like women having a bit of fun, she probably thought you was up for a little session?
I used to have a Polo (GT) & I always felt the need to push you guys a little, just one of those things a girl has to do I guess, (that is with the understanding that she is actually safe to be on the road as I find that there are so many who should not even get in a car).

But you know not all women are EVIL some are worse!

Anyhow I am sure you feel better that you have got it off your chest.
