I would use the T piece for the old MFA temp sensor & the new temp gauge sensor rather than to fit a temp & oil pressure switch, you want the pressure switch to have good contact with the oil flow :)

AFAIK, G is for the gauge, and WK is for the wire from the old pressure switch. It may be the other way round but I'm pretty sure its that way!

nooooo
You need 1 t piece for the temp senders.  The 2 pole audi sensor REPLACES theold high pressure sensor, one connection on the sensor goes to the gauge, the other goes to the wire from the old pressure switch you've removed.

ok right

so the warning buzzer for high/low oil pressure will still work if I replace the original sender on the oil filter housing for the twin pole audi one yeah?

and, can I use the sender I have mentioned above for the temp or do I need the 180 deg jobby?

cheers

Paul.

Yeah you have the 1.8 bar twin pole sender, so it replaces the old white 1.8bar sender with a yellow wire.  The yellow wire is then connected to the twin pole sender, to pin WK.

I don't think that sender is the right one for the gauge, buy you can always try it!  You can compare the MFA reading to the gauge reading, if they're very different you got the wrong temp sender off the audi.

wicked, iv got the jist of things now

job for tonight me thinks, the gauges are already in with 2 wires run through into the bonnet for the temp and pressure so all i have to do is replace the sender on the oil filter housing with the VDO twin pole jobby, plug new wire to 'G' and old wire to 'WK'. Then remove the temp sender from back of cylinder head, screw T piece in to head, then replace the original temp sender into T piece along with the audi one, plug new wire to audi temp sender and original to original... job done
