Throw some cams in with all that and you should get 200bhp

But then you will need headwork...
And a bored TB...
And higher compression.

None of which is hard...do the lot and 225+ is on the cards...and boy, will it rev!

Reducing my Golf count by the week....
..but gaining motorcycles.

All of which I'm planning bit by bit  ... Although I have serious urges to go out and buy another vr engine for playing with/spares

Lets keep this thread alive people!

Ive got a lightened flywheel here and its down to 6.9kilo

I want to take it down further whats the minimum i should take it too?

Also what is the standard weight?

Many a thanks

Standard is around 10.5 kg iirc, mine went down to 5.9 which was great, and it didn't look like there was any more to take from it tbh

Cool so the one I have has Atleast 3kilo taken off but I'm definatly taking more off

If I can get hold of another engine then I'll probably take a few grammes of the crank if I find it's worth while
